Vintage toys are marketed to adults rather than children. They have sentimental value and are collectibles. As the name vintage implies, these toys are representative of it the past.

Vintage toys can be hard to find items from the Victorian era. They can also be toys from the early 20th century through the 1980s. If the original toy cannot be found often a replica is made.

Collectors of vintage toys can find them on Internet sites or in specialized retail stores. Treasure hunters often look for them on eBay and in yard sales. A vintage toy that is not in top condition can often be restored and bring joy to the buyer.
